Despite having our own private, fully equipped homes, cohousing offers an alternative to the isolation and lack of support found in many other types of housing. RTC nurtures our relationships by incorporating unique design elements that encourage interaction. These elements include walkways, common balconies, conversation nooks, rooftop decks, deemphasizing cars out of sight and most homes looking inward to the Commons.

We will eat together weekly to get to know one another and share chores like gardening and management to reduce budgets. And by providing centralized laundry facilities and sharing equipment like tools, ladders and even cars, we will get to know each other while also saving the planet!
