A co-housing development which would combine market-rate condominiums with discounted units in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood has received an initial city endorsement.

Financing is being assembled for the project, known as River Trail Commons. The Plan Commission on Monday recommended a zoning change to accommodate it − which needs Common Council approval.
